Although it is known that Onyfix®️ is an efficacious product for the conservative management of involuted and in-grown nails, there are many use cases for the Onyfix®️ system that have been described by Podiatrists in clinical practice that are not well discussed. In today's article we would like to briefly explore a specific use case of Onyfix®️, specifically for the management of onycholysis.

As our audience would be aware, onycholysis is the detachment of the nail plate from its nail bed, often as a result of trauma, dermatological conditions, infection, compromised vascular supply, or drug therapy. Although application with Onyfix®️ cannot address such underlying aetiological factors, it has been used by clinicians attempting to implement a prophylactic measure aimed at improving the quality of life of such patients.
